Yuwalaya's short movie against VAW (Watch video)

Hello all,
Like the previous year, the world is marking the 16-day Activism against Gender-based Violence, from November 25-Decelber 10, this year also. So is Yuwalaya.

Since 1991, human rights organizations around the world organize campaigns against gender-based violence from November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to December 10, International Human Rights. The 16 days of the campaign are marked with various programs and activities that aim to end gender-based violence, including violence against women, and established an equitable society.
Realizing significant roles of youths in combating gender-based violence in Nepal, Yuwalaya is organizing the Promoting Men's Engagement against Gender-based Violence campaign from November 25 to December 10 this year. The campaign in particular aims to promote role of male adolescents and men in fighting against gender-based violence including violence against women.
Violence against women is an issue of everyone including of MEN. Especially, engagement of young men can play an important role to end harmful practices against women prevailing in Nepali society.  An equal and equitable society with gender sensitivity cannot be imagined without contributions of men.

Under this
Promoting Men's Engagement against Gender-based Violence campaign, Yuwalaya is making some short movies that focus on men's role against gender-based violence, and violence against women.

We are very proud to present this very first creation from the series to you.
