Yuwalaya, a youth-led non-government organisation, on Saturday, September 2, elected its new executive committee for next two years.
The third general convention of the organisation held in Lalitpur today elected the nine-member team led by Sabin Singh as its President.
Yuwalaya's outgoing President Sanjog Thakuri handed over the office to Singh on Saturday itself.
Singh is the founding Vice-President of organisation. He was the Vice-President in the outgoing committee as well.
Likewise, the convention elected Santosh Maharjan, Nirijana Bhatta, Diwakar and Chetana Tulachan as Vice-President, General Secretary, Member Secretary and Treasurer respectively.
Rubina Shrestha, Adesh Gautam, Niroshan Sthapit and Triveni Kumar Yadav are newly elected executive members.
Meanwhile, the newly elected committee took the oath of office and secrecy from the election committee led by advocate Devi Regmi yesterday itself.
