Yuwalaya is a purely youth-led, non-profit, non-government
organization working for and with youths and adolescents of Nepal. Yuwalaya is
established by child club graduates and seeks to create platform for
adolescents, youths and especially child clubs graduates aiming to encourage
them to achieve its goals and objectives.
Yuwalaya is hiring personnel for the following positions to
run its various projects:

Program Officer (1)
|

Coordinate with the Board to carry out various
programs including regular activities and project-specific assignments

Lead the Program Team and supervise staff
·
Prepare and submit reports to the Board on a
timely basis

Design and execute ideas and proposals
·
Liaise between Yuwalaya and its partners
|
·
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline
·
At least two years of experience in programs with
children and/or youth
·
Excellent English and Nepali language skills
·
Basic computer skills
·
Team spirit and ability to work under pressure
·
Sensitivity toward children and child-friendly
approach and behaviors
·
Willingness and ability for field visit

Project Associate (1)
|
Six months with possible extension
|
·
Implement project activities in the Capital
and project implementation districts in coordination with the Program Officer
and the Board
·
Coordinate with local partners and
stakeholders to carry out the project activities
·
Report the project activities to the Program
Officer

·
+2 (Higher secondary) or equivalent in any discipline
·
(Preferred) At least a year of experience in
programs with children and/or youth
·
Training sessions design and facilitation
skills
·
Excellent English and Nepali language skills
·
Basic computer skills
·
Team spirit and ability to work under pressure
·
Sensitivity toward children and child-friendly
approach and behaviors

Training Associate (1)

Conduct training sessions for children, adolescents
and youth on local governance and other various issues
·
Coordinate with local partners and
stakeholders to conduct the trainings
·
Report the training sessions to the Program
Officer

·
+2 (Higher secondary) or equivalent in any discipline
·
(Preferred) At least a year of experience in
programs with children and/or youth
·
Training sessions design and facilitation
skills
·
English and Nepali language skills
·
Basic computer skills
·
Team spirit and ability to work under pressure

Sensitivity toward children and child-friendly
approach and behaviors
·
Nepali typing skills [MUST]

Graphic Designer (1)
|
Six months with possible extension
|
·
Illustrate conceptualized materials into
graphs and figures for publication.
·
Design behavior change communication (BCC)
materials as and when required for the organization.

·
+2 (Higher secondary) or equivalent in any discipline
·
Passion about illustration/drawing/designing
(Preference will be given to Fine Arts students)
·
Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop,
Adobe Indesign and/or related software
·
Creativity into designing the materials
·
Learning attitude and interest on child and
adolescent issues
·
Ability to work under pressure

Duty station: Kathmandu with frequent field visits
Working hours: Full time
Salary: As per the organizational rules
